  3. The Curtis Hammond Band is interested in coming down and playing at the Vancouver Brewfest. Our band was a 2008 nominee as best blues band by the Washington Blues Society, and our lead vocalist is a 2010 nominee as best male blues vocalist. We’ve recently done a number of major outdoor festivals such as Mt. Baker Blues Festival, Taste of Tacoma, Bite of Seattle, etc. We are a 9 piece high energy R&B band that always gets the crowd up dancing.   9. I was just wondering how I would find out if I was accepted as a volunteer? I filled everything out a month or so ago but I haven’t heard anything back and I wanted to make sure it went through.

  15. I see that servers on the saturday evening shift can come get their mug and tokens on friday. I volunteered for saturday early shift, can I also get my mug and token on friday or do I have to wait until after my saturday early shift?
    Also, will there be any required training or orientation?

    • Steve, early shift volunteers will receive their packages after their shifts. There will be advance training and emails are going out shortly to arrange acceptable times. Thanks for volunteering, we sure appreciate it!

  17. I’ve emailed a couple of different contacts from this page, but don’t have a response yet.

    If you buy tickets online, do you have to print out the e-receipt and bring to the festival? Because there was never any ticket sent after purchase.

    • Max, sorry for the confusion. Just bring your id to the front entrance and we’ll have your name and email that you purchased the tickets with to check you in. Nothing to worry about. Cheers and thanks!

  18. I purchased tickets online but was charged twice. I do not need four tickets. How do I get a refund for one of the charges?

  19. I will have a 6 month old baby in a stroller….can I bring her in or do I need to make other arrangements?

    • Sorry, this is strictly a 21 and over event. Due to the permit regulations for this type of event we’re not allowed to admit minors into the park.

  24. I had bought two tickets on paypal yesterday 8/9 I have a receipt for the payment in my email. but not a physical ticket can I stilll get in to the event by showing my id at the gate as the email on my smart phone? Thank you for your time!

  30. Wow- what a great time. Spent Saturday afternoon at the brewfest and had a great afternoon. Great beer, great weather– anxious to know how it all worked out……Ready to do it again next year??..
    Vancouver is ready for #2 if you guys are……..

  31. I volunteered for Saturday afternoon. I broke lucky and served for Heathen, and I had a ball. Sign me up for another volunteer stint next year.

    Suggestion? Make a pass for volunteers that’s good for both days. In this way, to work within the rules, a few of us might come down Friday evening to enjoy the fest, then be available to work the last shift on Saturday evening.
