Each brewery may bring up to 2 fresh hop beers. No other beer style will be accepted. (Somewhere in there we gotta have some fresh hops)
Required equipment brewery must provide:
- Jockey box and full CO2 tank
- Keg bucket(s) for kegs to sit in ice bath
- 1 “1/2” barrel keg of each type of beer, and 2 “1/4 or “1/6” barrel reserves for each beer. Un-tapped kegs will be returned at the end of the event for full refund. Kegs will be stored onsite in a refrigerated truck. If you do not have smaller kegs another ½ bb will be fine.
- Bring your Beer details listed on a 8.5 x 11 Inches Slant Back Sign Holder Ad Frame, one for each beer, so folks can read all about them!
Load in: Friday October 7, 12 – 2 PM. We must have all Co2 tanks secured by 2 PM for the inspection by the Fire Marshal. This is key. The rest of the set up is fine to do after 2 PM. Gates open at 4 PM.
Load out: Saturday October 8 AFTER 10 PM or Sunday October 9, 9-11 AM
Brewery Booth Fee:
There are no fees to participate in the Fresh Hop Festival if you pour your own beer. If you need us to provide volunteers for the weekend the fee is $250. If you need us to provide volunteers Friday the fee is $100. If you need us to provide volunteers Saturday the fee is $150.
We will add your brewery logo, name, and beer information on the event website, and tasting notes printed program. You may also place one banner near your assigned brewery space. Decorate your assigned 4 foot table area as you see fit including table cover and skirt. Otherwise, plastic table covers will be provided. Includes 2 Brewer Day passes only (Entrance, tasting glass) for Friday and 2 for Saturday for your serving staff.
The Vancouver Brewfest Foundation buys the beer at regular price and appreciate you understanding there are no free pours.
